Abstract: The objective of this work is to analyze the risk factors associated with absence and its relationship with job performance in the personnel who work in the Moduplac furniture factory in the period June-December 2021 in the city of Ica. Methodology: Descriptive, observational, retrospective and transversal. The total population was 30 workers from the Moduplac furniture factory, and the representative sample considered the entire population of said factory. Data collection was carried out through a survey and the IBM SPSS program was used for statistical elaboration. Results: It was determined that 76.7% of people were hired and 23.3% had another type of employment relationship with the company. The days of leave taken by the staff are from 1 to 20 days for 96.7% of people and from 21 to 60 days for 3.3%. 10% perform daily physical activity, 37% perform physical activity once a week, 13% three times a week and 40% do not perform physical activity. 3.3% of people have had an accident at work, 90% have not. Conclusions: The risk factors that influence work absenteeism and its relationship with work performance in the personnel that works in the mattress factory during the period June - December 2021, are family problems, and the conditions of the work performed. by people. Internal context factors significantly influence work absenteeism in the personnel who work in the company, external context factors such as co-workers, and interpersonal relationships significantly influence work absenteeism, productivity, personal characteristics and the expertise significantly influence the performance of the staff who work in the company.
