Abstract: An investigation was carried out whose objective was to determine the relationship between hypertensive disorders in pregnancy and obstetric complications in pregnant women treated at Hospital Santa María del Socorro, Ica 2019; The methodology used was a correlational, retrospective and cross-sectional investigation, the research design was nonexperimental or observational; the sample consisted of all hospitalized pregnant women with a diagnosis of hypertensive pregnancy disorder, with a total of 60 cases. The results obtained were that in the hypertensive disorder of pregnancy 18.3% presented preeclampsia, 5% chronic over-aggregate hypertension, gestational or transient hypertension and eclampsia respectively, obstetric complications appeared in 33.3% while 66.7% did not occur. observed complications; The threat of preterm birth was presented in 43.3%, premature detachment of the placenta was presented in 35%. In maternal complications during delivery, postpartum hemorrhage occurred in 56.7%, of which 30% corresponds to pre-eclampsia; in 1.7% other pathologies such as soft tissue tears and retention of placental remains. It was concluded that there is no significant relationship between hypertensive disorders in pregnancy and obstetric complications in pregnant women treated at Hospital Santa María Del Socorro, Ica 2019 Keyword: Hypertensive disorder in pregnancy - obstetric complications
