Relacion entre sobrepeso y obesidad pregestacional con la via de terminación de parto en el Hospital Santa Maria del Socorro de Ica, 2019

Abstract

The objective of the research was to determine the relationship between overweight and pre-pregnancy obesity with the route of termination of labor at the Hospital Santa María Del Socorro De Ica - 2019, for this I use the following methodology Type descriptive, cross-sectional, prospective, Level of Correlational research and non-experimental design, had a sample of 50 pregnant women with overweight and obesity who attend the Hospital Santa María Del Socorro De Ica, in their results it was found that 58% obtained a BMI of overweight and 42% with obesity , of which 54% were delivered by cesarean section and 46% vaginally, within this it was also found that the age that most influenced the overweight and obesity were the groups between 20 and 30 years, on the other hand pregnant women with urban origin are those that predominated in May for a high BMI, in terms of weight gain per quarter, in the first quarter 88% was adequate, while in the second and third quarters re was inadequate with 58%, concluding that pregestational overweight and obesity are related to a cesarean delivery route.
