Abstract: Objective: To determine the relationship between job satisfaction and quality of life in emergency service nurses, Hospital Nacional Hipólito Unanue, Lima 2021. Materials and methods: Basic type research, correlational descriptive level, non- experimental cross-sectional design and with a quantitative approach, the sample was 85 nurses from the emergency service of the Hospital Hipólito Unanue, to whom the job satisfaction questionnaires and quality of life, through which the data was collected to obtain the following results. Results: The present study worked with the variables job satisfaction and quality of life in which we found that job satisfaction is at a medium level in 29 people surveyed in (34.1%), and quality of life at the medium level in 50 people in (58.8%) its dimensions: physical well-being at the medium level in 58 people (68.2%), social well-being at the medium level in 55 people (64.7%), in psychological well-being at the level medium in 54 people (63.5%), in spiritual wellbeing in 48 people it is at the medium level (56.5%). Conclution: There is a direct and high relationship between the levels of job satisfaction and quality of life in the nurses of the Hospital emergency service Hipólito Unanue, Lima 2021, (Spearman's Rho = .864), with which the general hypothesis has been proven.
