Abstract: Objective: To determine the relationship between socioeconomic factors and adolescent pregnancy at the La Unión Health Center, Huánuco, 2019. Material and method: An observational, prospective, cross-sectional and relational-level study, the sample was of 31 adolescents, who responded to a questionnaire of 10 items for the variable socioeconomic factors and 1 item for the variable adolescent pregnancy, to relate the variables, the statistical test of Chi square and Spearman's Rho was used. Results: 80.6% of the participants are between 15 and 17 years old; 71.0% single and 71.0% have a secondary education degree. Regarding social factors, 61.3% do not have good communication with their parents; 64.5% if they have parental guidance on issues of sexuality; 61.3% are interested in attending talks on sexual orientation; 74.2% there is no information on sexual education in the media; 87.1% did not have a partner at an early age. Regarding economic factors, 71.0% working condition of the couple is bad; 67.7% income received from the partner is bad; 80.6% the occupation question that they currently have is bad; 54.8% financial support that you receive from their parents or a relative is regular; 64.5% work condition of their parents is regular. Conclusion: The existence of a relationship between socioeconomic factors and adolescent pregnancy is recognized. Therefore, it is recommended an articulated work between DIRESA, DREH, UGEL, Municipalities and other entities, that implement programs and issues that address sexuality, through technical assistance and workshops on vital issues such as contraception and family planning.
